 Darfur furor

Massive "Stop Genocide" rallies are planned in Washington and across the nation to URGE the Bush Administration to take strong action to end violence in Sudan's Darfur region. What?  Are these the same activists that want the Bush Administration to get out of Iraq?  Oh, I see lets use our dwindling resources in a different part of the world so the media can start anew bashing theBush Administration.  The Washington Post reports that at least 200,000 have died in the conflict and 2.5 million have been forced from their homes.  What took the activists so long to start counting the dead in Darfur?  In Iraq they started counting before it even got to one thousand.

Why doesn't George Clooney, Joey Cheek, Rev. Sharpton and the rest of the elfs demonstrate in front of the U.N. and get Mr. Annan and his cohorts to do their job. Unite the Nations.  Many thousands died in Rowanda and the media and activists didn't make a big deal.  Mr. Clinton did not go out of his way to help.

Many in America  have voluntarily donned blinders rather than admit that the UN is what it is: ineffective in its mission, corrupt from top to bottom, and, most damaging, responsible for the deaths and abuse of millions of human beings it is sworn to protect. Yet what can we expect from an organization that requires only status of nationhood for admittance? Some of the vilest, most repulsive thugs, terrorists, criminals, and human rights abusers sit protected in the Turtle Bay offices while their regimes commit atrocities of unspeakable brutality, most often against their own citizens.

 Protest all you want

I've been thinking of the proposed May 1st immigrant protest and I think it would be a good indicator of the backbone of the other side. Legal residents? For the sake of pondering, lets say that all the ILLEGAL aliens and illegal alien sympathizers stay home for the whole day. Well, they say they will stay home. I think that they will take to the streets to make a scene.
If they would stay home:
Maybe the freeways would not be all that crowded,
The hospitals would be available for the truly benefited,
The businesses that hire illegals will lose money,
I would know which business not to patronize,
There would be shorter lines at the gas pumps,
My ears could rest from all the leaf blower noise, maybe they could strike on sunday so I can sleep in later,
Stores would be less crowded,
I could go on and on but the point I'm trying to make is that I do not think it would be that ecomomicly catastrophic. The experiment would serve us well to see exactly where both sides stand. In a way I'm glad the illegals are crossing the proverbial line in the sand. Lets hope that our Fat Cats in Washington wakeup or the American people wake them up when they come up for reelection. I'm not holding my breath.

 Bill of NO Rights

The Bill of NO Rights

The following was written by State Representative Mitchell Kaye from Cobb County, GA.

We, the sensible people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid any more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior and secure the blessings of debt-free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt-ridden, delusional and other liberal, bed wetters. We hold these truths to be self-evident: that a whole lot of people were confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim that they require a Bill of No Rights.

ARTICLE I:

You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV or any other form of wealth. More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but no one is guaranteeing anything.

ARTICLE II:

You do not have the right to never be offended. This country is based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone - not just you! You may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc., but the world is full of idiots, and probably always will be.

ARTICLE III:

You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful, do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy.

ARTICLE IV:

You do not have the right to free food and housing. Americans are the most charitable people to be found, and will gladly help anyone in need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes.

ARTICLE V:

You do not have the right to free health care. That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing, we're just not interested in public health care.

ARTICLE VI:

You do not have the right to physically harm other people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim or kill someone, don't be surprised if the rest of us want to see you fry in the electric chair.

ARTICLE VII:

You do not have the right to the possessions of others. If you rob, cheat or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don't be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won't have the right to a big-screen color TV or a life of leisure.

ARTICLE VIII:

You do not have the right to demand that our children risk their lives in foreign wars to soothe your aching conscience. We hate oppressive governments and won't lift a finger to stop you from going to fight if you'd like. However, we do not enjoy parenting the entire world and do not want to spend so much of our time battling each and every little tyrant with a military uniform and a funny hat.
ARTICLE IX:

You do not have the right to a job. All of us sure want all of you to have one, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful.

ARTICLE X:

You do not have the right to happiness. Being an American means that you have the right to pursue happiness - which by the way, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an overabundance of idiotic laws created by those of you who were confused by the Bill of Rights.

If this posting offends you, please refer to Article II.

 Divided States of America

Legalize intruders into our country? How long before our politicos give amnesty to the next batch of boasting intruders? Some people say that the low paying jobs that nobody want to do in this country will not be done. Well, I say that the jobs will be done by the next ebb of humanity. Once the intruders are legal they'll pack up their possessions and move where the wages are higher. The next generation of intruders will wait till the time is good to revolt and the cycle starts all over again.

What we need is for the demonstrators to cross the border into Mexico to show their solidarity. Who knows maybe they can get more people to move over here. They can just vamoose with the crowd coming back to Our Divided States of America.

Once here they can vote, that's if they know how to vote. But that's ok, the Peoples Government will make sure that the proper voting materials are provided and if they need a ride to the polling place well why not get some of that high priced gasoline in our cars and take them to vote. We don't want to discriminate so we can invite other countries to vote in their wishes and desires. We have plenty of rights and privilages to go around. I hear the French have plenty of young folk that wouldn't mind coming o'er here form o'er there. Just one mans opinion that agrees with Mr. Buchanan.

Good 4 Da Goose Good 4 the Gander

Mexicans don’t like foreigners meddling in their internal politics.

The Mexican constitution even has a particular and well-known article which deals quite clearly with the status and expectations of non-Mexicans in Mexico. It’s the famous Article 33:

Article 33 - Foreigners are those who do not possess the qualities determined in Article 30. They have the right to the guarantees of Chapter I of the first title of this Constitution, but the Executive of the Union has the exclusive right to expel from the national territory, immediately and without necessity of judicial proceedings, all foreigners whose stay it judges inconvenient. Foreigners may not, in any manner, involve themselves in the political affairs of the country.

ARTICULO 33. SON EXTRANJEROS LOS QUE NO POSEAN LAS CALIDADES DETERMINADAS EN EL ARTICULO 30. TIENEN DERECHO A LAS GARANTIAS QUE OTORGA EL CAPITULO I, TITULO PRIMERO, DE LA PRESENTE CONSTITUCION; PERO EL EJECUTIVO DE LA UNION TENDRA LA FACULTAD EXCLUSIVA DE HACER ABANDONAR EL TERRITORIO NACIONAL, INMEDIATAMENTE Y SIN NECESIDAD DE JUICIO PREVIO, A TODO EXTRANJERO CUYA PERMANENCIA JUZGUE INCONVENIENTE.

LOS EXTRANJEROS NO PODRAN DE NINGUNA MANERA INMISCUIRSE EN LOS ASUNTOS POLITICOS DEL PAIS.

Article 43 of the General Law of Population (Ley General de Población) states that:

"The admission to the country of a foreigner obliges him to strictly comply with the conditions established for him in the immigration permit and the dispositions established by the respective laws."

Americans have been expelled on the basis of these laws.
