If the knucle head would have walked away quietly with the police he would not have been tasered. From the film that I saw it did not appear that he was being tasered that much. Only at the end when he was on the floor that you can actually hear him really not act out his attention getting episode. I believe he started to make a scene. Just another screwed up individual that wants attention.

Having taken a rest from spending more time than I want too on the computer, I could not resist coming back to read and opine. Our Congress has shifted some power and I hope that it does not lisp too much to the left. Irag is still going strong. Too bad our troops are getting knocked off. They are just sitting ducks and our politicians are plying politial chess with our soldiers, airmen and sailors. They'll eventully come home. My question is when will they be sent out to war again and will they let them fight win? Maybe we can have a Non-binding war? No body gets hurt in a non-binding war. How would the main stream media cover a non-binding war?

We elect politicians because they say they will look out for our interests. The general publics interest. So why do other politiciancs not support the soon to be gone president. I was under the impression that a president would do his best to finish what he started. I would also expect the congress to support him. But I guess that would be to nonpartisan of them to do that. So I suppose all we can expect from our elected leaders is two years of lip service. We will get more lies from both parties on what they will do for us. It's a vicious cycle. We can just wait and react to the next crisis rolls around to see who we can blame and oust out of office. Lets hope it's not another horrific 9/11.

The mid-term elections have ended and the politicians gone back into obscurity from the general public. I guess the only times that we will hear from them is when they have some partisan get over brainchild. Why can't the politicians just drop the D and the R from their last names. We don't need political affiliations. We need politicians that have problem solving ideas. Problem solvers that can bring ideas to the table without having reservations and not feeling like somebody will take credit for the idea. Kind of like the democrats having ideas but they won't say what they are because they want the power before they bring them out into the sunshine. Wishful thinking on my part I guess.

November 5th 2006 marks the date that Sadaam Hussein was sentenced to death by hanging. I ask myself the question that, How come there appears to little coverage of the trial and verdict? Our media has been covering the Iraq war fairly consistently. Is Sadaam Hussein not part of the story? I haven’t heard or read anything on the result of the appeal process. Proponents of the verdict say the it will leave behind a terrible past and lead to a more unified Iraq, while critics argue it will add fuel to divisive sectarian violence in the country. The past that Hussein has already left is terrible and it appears that Iraq does not seem to be very unified or else our troops would be home by now. If the proponents mean that the terrorist are going to be more unified, well they have been unified since the beginning of the war. They are so unified that the United States is on the verge of getting out of Dodge post haste if our media presses any harder. Lets see if the proponents are correct and hang Hussein on world television, prime time, pay per view or streaming video on the internet. We had beheadings on the internet.
