John Maccain's humble character has to be rooted from his stay at the Hanoi Hilton. I think that he changed the way of thinking and dealing with daily problems while under captivity. Subcontiously he still might be trying to reist his captors and in todays equivalent it would be the Status Quo. He stands by his convictions because subconciously he believes he is protecting his comrades. So when Obama verbally attacks Maccain's political convitions, Maccain just lets the comments slide, just like the verbal abuse he tolerated while st the Hanoi Retreat. I think he really believes and has faith the american voter will see thru the political curtain put in front of us. I just hope that he chooses his retaliation battles wisely to help us all because Obama is a puppet in the political machine green rolling down the global path.

I was talking with a friend yesterday and the topic was, "Do you think we should attack/bomb Iran?" After a ten minute discussion on the pros and cons of the topic before we had to go back to our daily work load we came to the conclusion that: 1. We (USA) should draw the proverbial line in the sand and if any country dares to cross it they accept the consequences.
2. Abolish the United Nations.
3. Inform other rougue countries of the consequences if they mess with the USA. We would take the necessary actions to push them back across the line in the sand.
4. Have another J. Edgar Hoover type secret service agency. Chertoff ain't cutting it.
I personally thought that there ought to be a super global heroe/heroine kicking butt.

Al Gore's head is going to get as big as his gut now that he is a Peace prize selectee. Gov. Arnold S. should not have signed into law that if you smoke in a car when a child is present you will get fined $100.00. Parents should be more considerate. What about convicted child abusers on parole? They have more rights than kids. The legal American public should start contacting their elected representatives to inform them what they are more concerned about. I don't want the elite media telling me what I think I should be concerned about. Heed more and be considerate of others. That is a good start on next week's to do list. Assist my peers as much as practical without getting behind on my egotistical journey like Mr. Gore and the bigger egos than I. Sounds hypocritical of me, hmm? Try to not forget to call my son to find out the results of the spinal tap test. Does slowing down to speed up really work? or is gravity getting the best of me? How many Ice Ages will the memory of myself endure?

I have just finished reading the article, " A Death in the Family", by Christopher Hitchens, Vanity Fair. I was directed to this article by a radio talk show host. Not personally but because he was reading the article and I was driving so I could not finish hearing the story. To say that I only served twenty and a half years in the Navy is a short time compared to the time that Mark Daily's parents will eternally miss him. I also like Mr. Hitchens did not know this individual but having read his reason for going to Irag and his story has impressed me alot. I will remember him because he made me shed a couple of tears. Believe me when I say I do not shed a tear that easily. As they say in the, Navy Fair Winds and Following Seas, Soldier.

I was surprised yesterday by my wife's comment that she had just heard a rumor that George Bush was behind the 9/11 attack. At first I did not now how to react to her. Initally I wanted to ask her if she had just awaken from her daily nap. But I soon realized that somewhere out there lurks another group of people that need to open their eyes. I guess what I'm trying to say is that people dig up old news for lack of new news to tak about. Case in point. Justice Thomas and Anita Hill. Rush Limbaugh and Phoney soldiers. Maybe there is an ulterior motive like payback. Certainly there is some Transactional Analysis on a local and global scale. Floating egos bumping everywhere. You heard it here first. Like who cares if the four cubit feet of water in the middle of the Indian Ocean has been to New York City.
